So this is what the past month has looked like for me:
What has struck me most was how few women’s names seemed to be popular – everyone was Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jane, Anne or Margaret for pretty much the entire Tudor period.
I’m still working my way through Reformation, and have yet to start The Watchers (mostly due to an unexpected detour into re-reading Sebastian Sebag Montefiore’s Jerusalem). Not quite sure where to go from there – any suggestions?
